it's over. Kaput. Veneto. We’ve been kicked out. Turns out Titch’s pet passport was fake and in Germany they have tough penalties for that sort of thing. He’s in a foul mood and has hit the bar. It’s like someone has kicked him in the goolies. Right, I’m going to go and find out the score from Saturday’s game. I can’t believe we spent England v Portugal behind bars. That was the one I didn’t want to miss.

My mum always said I had a face for radio and thanks to those nice people at ITV, my furry face was splashed across the nation’s screens on Tuesday night in the pre-match build up. Coca-Cola, if you’re reading – I want more money and a new collar and a personal brusher that goes everywhere with me and, erm, a hot air balloon.
I knew we could do it. Safe as houses mate. Well it wasn’t really was it but hey, it wouldn’t be England if we didn’t have an emotional roller coaster of a second half would it? I gotta say the atmosphere was best yet. From all of the three games I would say this was the most charged. There were a more even number of opposing fans than previous games, England were in superb voice and the stadium was second to none. The first half performance was much better than previous but why do we seem to crumble in the second so much? I mean they can’t blame the weather this time. It was comparably mild. Why is it we can’t seem to beat Sweden? Their fans love that fact and taunted us to boot. Anyway we’re through, we’re top and that’s all that matters. Next game Saturday against Ecuador. Can’t bloomin wait.

Ma-a-a-t-e! Got tickets and we’re off to the game. After all the malarkey around the stadium it turned out all I had to do was flick on the old charm. Still got it you know. I was renowned as a bit of an old dog in my younger days. So when I met Rachel at the ticket office I just gave her the old puppy eyes and the single tear. WHAM! BAM! Thank you mam. Before I knew it she was stroking my wet nose and tucking two fresh tickets under me collar. Now we can party like its…well the World cup 2006. WE LOVE YOU ENGLAND WE DO…

Don’t ask me how it happened but it did. We lost our tickets. I could see Titch wanted to kick off proper but after the arguments of the last few days I think he bit his tongue. We’re here for England so had to focus on getting into game. Titch had some ideas of how we could get in most of which resulted in me injuring or humiliating myself.

It’s good to be back on the bus. Postie’s been well nice to me since the bust up. He’s laid on sausages, cleaned me collar and even given me a going over with the flea comb. It was no fun on the streets of Stuttgart to be honest. I’ve never felt so low. Sure I’ve spent nights out on the streets before and there was that time when I walked from lands end to John O’ groats for the local dogs home but it’s different when your not on your own turf. Schnitzel scraps just don’t cut it.
Anyway, the big game tonight. We’re now in Cologne and it’s absolutely buzzin. A sea of red and white carpets the main platz and the fans are on good form. Met a guy called Daz from Leominster. He flew over late last night and the airline had lost his bag. Not that it’s got him down at all. He’s managed to get some pink flip flops, leather lederhosen and painted his whole body with a St. George’s cross. Every time he stands still people throw money at him. He’s already earned 63 euro and 50 cents.

Found him!!!! After a final scout around town I took the metro back towards the campsite where low and behold I came across Titch sleeping rough. He was in a bad way. Delirious, confused and smelling like an old stray. He said he’d been hanging out with a gang of Mexican Spaniels who were mates of Juan Pablo’s and that they were going to hitch a ride to the next England game. It’s good to have him back. After a good bath, a brush of his coat and some flea powder he’ll be ready for the match. We need a result to go top of group. COME ON ENGLAND!!!!

Just nipped back to the bus to check emails. But no sightings. Can’t find the mutt anywhere. I have spent all morning handing out my missing posters and tacking them to trees but have no leads on the dog. However, many people I met have commented on the design. Maybe I could hang up my post bag and become a designer in the big smoke? To be honest I’m really missing the fella now. Sure we’ve had our ups and downs, bickering and fighting but it’s only to be expected when you’re joined at the hip for 10 days living on a bus and mascoting in temperatures of 30 degrees plus. But it’s been an amazing journey. We’ve shared so many highs and lows, jubilations and good times with the England fans during the games. I just want my buddy back. Besides, the bus leaves for Cologne tomorrow.
